QSAFEIT develops quantum-safe cryptographic tools to protect national data and information-technology assets against the threat posed by quantum computers. The project spans the design, analysis and implementation of post-quantum primitives and their migration into real systems.

Blockchain for the traceability of FAB products
Part of FAB's fabGRADE investment programme, the BperTrack research line develops a blockchain-based certification system for the transparency, traceability and quality of FAB's products, carried out under a research agreement between FAB and UnivPM.

An ESA study investigating spectral lines and spurious components in high-data-rate satellite telemetry transmissions. The project assessed the randomisation schemes defined in CCSDS, CNES and NASA recommendations and developed alternative solutions for reducing unwanted spectral components in randomised signals.

Offline Antenna Correlator for EnVision
An ESA project developing an offline operational arraying tool for the EnVision mission. The system combines signals received by multiple ground-station antennas to improve the signal-to-noise ratio and support the processing of large data volumes, covering correlation, demodulation and channel decoding. UnivPM contributed as a technical consultant.
Multiple Access Sequences for Satellite Constellations without Centralised Management
An ESA project developing simulation and experimental tools for the design and validation of uncoordinated Telemetry, Tracking and Command access in satellite constellations. The project studies multiple-access sequences and receiver-processing techniques and includes the development of a digital receiver breadboard for hardware-based performance evaluation.
